A woman who was impersonating a Police Inspector has been arrested near a lodge in Pettah.
The woman was arrested by officers from the Colombo Central Crimes Division.
At the time of arrest, the suspect was wearing a police sports uniform and was in possession of a wooden object resembling a pistol-type firearm, police said.
