United Spirits shares gain 0.53% as Sensex rises

Shares of the United Spirits Ltd. traded at Rs 1051.45 on BSE at 02:04PM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.53 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 730.9 and a high of Rs 1097.4.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 56.77 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 18.52 per share and 9.17 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 13,118 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:04PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 76451.85 crore and is part of the Beverages & Distilleries industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 17.64 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 5.4 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1055.1 and Rs 1041.0.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 0.79 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2023. FII and MF ownership in United Spirits Ltd. stood at 16.51 per cent and 9.96 per cent, respectively.
