Shares of Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 4.37 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 4.27 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 3.61 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 2.3 per cent) and Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sobha Ltd.(down 2.92 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.15 per cent up at 1052.05.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 31.21 points at 24981.95, while the BSE Sensex stood down 167.71 points at 81467.1.
