Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Wednesday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 286.06 points down at 65226.04 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shashwat Furnishing(down 11.10 per cent), Amanaya Ventures(down 9.42 per cent), Innovatus Entertain(down 9.20 per cent), Benara Bearings(down 9.02 per cent) and Alpine Housing(down 8.71 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 10 stocks closed in the green, while 39 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 92.65 points down at 19436.1.

On the BSE, Manoj Vaibhav Gems N, Nuvama Wealth Manage, IndiaNivesh Ltd, Spectra Ind and Rap Media hit their fresh 52-week lows, while SoftTech Engineers, Addi Industries, Piccadily Agro, Kothari Fermen and Apollo Micro Systems touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
