Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 71.77 points down at 80010.21 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, AVI Products India (down 13.56 per cent), Shivam Chemicals(down 11.88 per cent), Dr. Lalchandani Labs(down 11.24 per cent), KPIT Tech(down 10.91 per cent) and Unitech Intnl(down 10.48 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 39.85 points down at 24395.65.

On the BSE, Maxheights Infr, Goldstone Tech, Evergreen Textiles, Rossell India and Kamdhenu Ventures hit their fresh 52-week lows, while CARE Ratings, Piramal Pharma, Mohite Industries, Shree Rajiv Lochan Oil Extraction Ltd. and Omega Ag-Seeds touched their fresh 52-week highs.
