Vedanta announced a dividend of ₹20 per share on Monday, marking its third interim dividend for the current fiscal year, amounting to a payout of ₹7,821 crore.
The record date for the dividend is set for September 10. This follows the company’s previous dividends of ₹11 per share in May and ₹4 per share in July. The natural resources major recently raised ₹3,100 crore by selling a 1.5% stake in its subsidiary Hindustan Zinc. Additionally, in July, the company secured ₹8,500 crore through a qualified institutional placement.
