Bharat Forge shares gain 0.47% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Bharat Forge Ltd. traded at Rs 1089.05 on BSE at 01:34PM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.47 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 677.85 and a high of Rs 1093.9.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 72.23 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 15.09 per share and 5.35 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 10,696 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:34PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 50735.19 crore and is part of the Auto Ancl – Others industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 41.85 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 10.05 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1093.9 and Rs 1075.3.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 45.25 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2023. FII and MF ownership in Bharat Forge Ltd. stood at 15.79 per cent and 20.28 per cent, respectively.
