Shares of Ambuja Cements Ltd. traded 0.47 per cent up at Rs 575.85 at around 10:40AM (IST) on Monday. The stock had closed at Rs 573.15 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 7.46 points higher at 81232.21 around the same time. The scrip has climbed 33.39 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 19.74 per cent during the same period.

The stock’s 52-week high price stood at Rs 706.85 and the 52-week low price at Rs 404.0.

Trading volume on the counter stood at 17,099 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 42.69, an EPS value of 13.47 and a price-to-book value of 3.25. In the Nifty50 pack, 13 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks were in the red. Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 67.57 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Sep-2024, while FII and MF ownership stood at 10.61 per cent and 6.35 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2024, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 8666.2 crore, down 5.05 per cent from the previous quarter’s Rs 9127.45 crore and down 3.45 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 8976.14 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 646.31 crore for the latest quarter.
