ACC shares down 1.14% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of ACC Ltd. traded 1.14 per cent down in Wednesday’s trade at 01:44PM (IST). Around 13,896 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 1911.45 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1919.5 and Rs 1870.0, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of ACC Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 2674.45 and a 52-week low of Rs 1593.5.

Total market cap of the ACC Ltd. stood at Rs 35345.32 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 5278.02 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 7.49 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 4910.06 crore and up 16.71 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 4522.28 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 466.1 crore, up 105.04 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Sep-2023, DIIs held 12.52 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 7.1 per cent and the promoters 56.69 per cent.
Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 48.58 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.22. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
