GAIL’s board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.5 per equity share with face value of Rs 10 each for FY26, subject to shareholder approval.
Revenue from operations during Q4 stood at Rs 35,705 crore compared with Rs 35,303 crore in the previous quarter. EBITDA for the quarter came in at Rs 2,703 crore against Rs 3,610 crore in Q3 FY26, reflecting a sequential decline of around 25%.
Profit before tax stood at Rs 1,966 crore during the quarter compared with Rs 2,165 crore in the previous quarter. On a standalone basis, quarterly profit after tax fell to Rs 1,262 crore from Rs 1,603 crore in Q3 FY26, marking a decline of around 21.3%.
Standalone revenue from operations rose marginally to Rs 34,797 crore from Rs 34,076 crore in the December quarter. Standalone EBITDA dropped sharply to Rs 2,175 crore from Rs 3,335 crore in Q3 FY26.
For the full financial year FY26, GAIL reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 1.42 lakh crore compared with Rs 1.42 lakh crore in FY25, remaining broadly flat YoY.
Consolidated EBITDA for FY26 stood at Rs 14,524 crore compared with Rs 20,635 crore in the previous financial year, a drop of nearly 30%. Profit before tax for FY26 came in at Rs 9,725 crore against Rs 16,095 crore in FY25.Annual consolidated profit after tax excluding minority interest declined sharply to Rs 7,582 crore from Rs 12,450 crore in the previous year, marking a fall of around 39%.
The company said profitability during the year was moderated by global headwinds, though operations remained resilient.
During FY26, GAIL incurred capital expenditure of Rs 9,594 crore, largely toward pipeline infrastructure, petrochemical projects, operational capex and equity contributions to joint ventures and subsidiaries.
Operationally, natural gas transmission volumes during FY26 stood at 122.18 MMSCMD compared with 127.32 MMSCMD in FY25. Gas marketing volume increased to 104.21 MMSCMD from 101.49 MMSCMD in the previous year.
LHC production declined to 813 TMT from 947 TMT in FY25.
