Several mortar shells have been discovered in the garden of a residence in the Parakum Mawatha area of Central Junction, Kalutara.
The shells were found during land development work for the construction of a house, police said.
Kalutara South Police stated that further investigations into the incident are underway with the assistance of the Special Task Force (STF).
