NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Thursday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, MTNL(13.89%), Everlon Synth(12.77%), Hitech Corporation (12.17%), Shriram EPC(11.89%), Disha Resources (11.83%), Ras Resorts(11.06%), Fairchem Organics(10.82%) and Soni Medicare(10.00%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 200.79 points up at 74230.55, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 52.1 points to 22522.6.
In the Nifty 50 index, 32 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Dhanlaxmi Cotex, Tavernier Res, ARSS Infra, TechNVision and Hira Automobiles hit their fresh 52-week high, while K&R Rail Engineering, Add-Shop E-Retail, India Lease Dev, Krishna Vent and Globale Tessile touched their new 52-week low in trade.
