The revenue from operations in Q2FY25 stood at Rs 1,057 crore, up by 13% over Rs 935 crore in Q2FY24. It was up 17% on a quarter-on-quarter basis as against Rs 903.05 crore of Q1FY25.
Total expenses incurred by the company in the reported quarter stood at Rs 953 crore versus Rs 821 crore posted by its in Q1FY25 and Rs 847 crore in the year ago period.
Segment wise, the freight rail systems revenue stood at Rs 1,000 crore as against Rs 842 crore and 801 crore reported by Titagarh Rail in Q1FY25 and Q2FY24, respectively. Revenue from the passenger rail system stood at Rs 57 crore which dropped from Rs 61 crore in Q1FY25 and Rs 135 crore in Q2FY24.
The company announced its July-September quarter earnings on Saturday and the Titagarh Rail shares on Friday had ended at Rs 1,143 on the NSE, down by Rs 23.30 or 2% from the Thursday closing price.
