Shares of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 3.53 per cent), Swan Energy Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 2.1 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.02 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.85 per cent up at 895.75.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 118.96 points at 22123.65, while the BSE Sensex stood up 526.01 points at 72996.31.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 ended in the green, while 27 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, Suzlon Energy and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Nuvama Wealth Manage, Arvind SmartSpaces, Onelife Capital, Jyoti CNC Automation and Rico Auto hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while NACL Industries, Shreeoswal Seeds, Lexus Granito(India), Commercial Syn Bags and Popular Vehicles hit their fresh 52-week lows.
