Shares of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 2.09 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.44 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.77 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.15 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sobha Ltd.(down 3.44 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent) and Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 0.26 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.44 per cent down at 935.35.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 97.71 points at 22055.2, while the BSE Sensex stood up 260.3 points at 72664.47. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 ended in the green, while 14 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NHPC, Zomato and IDFC First Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of Commercial Engg, Hindustan Zinc, Vijaya Diagnostic, Smartlink Holdings and Honeywell hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Sustainable Energy Infra Trust, Future Supply Chain, JNK India, Lancor Holdings and Popular Vehicles hit their fresh 52-week lows.
