Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 2.92 per cent), Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 0.91 per cent), Biocon Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent) and Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.45 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Cipla Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent), Lupin Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.27 per cent) and Granules India Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.44 per cent at 18855.4 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 19.25 points at 22123.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 30.16 points at 72806.29. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato, NHPC and IFCI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of MRO-TEK Realty, HG Infra Engg, Kapston Facilities, Aarti Pharmalabs and Cords Cable Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Medico Remedies, BLS E-Services, Eurotex Ind, Techindia Nirman and Shanti Overseas(Ind hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
