Nakoda Group(down 4.23%), Adani Wilmar(down 3.77%), Dodla Dairy(down 2.52%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 2.36%), P & G Hygiene(down 1.23%), Gillette India(down 1.16%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.53%), Patanjali Foods(down 0.50%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 0.43%) and Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.42%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 61.7 points up at 19632.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 149.31 points at 65995.81.
Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 3.77%), Hindalco Industries(up 3.11%), JSW Steel(up 2.76%), Tata Motors(up 2.51%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.34%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.05%), Coal India(up 1.95%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.87%), UPL Ltd(up 1.8%) and Tata Steel(up 1.74%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 2.83%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.84%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.83%), ICICI Bank(down 0.73%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.67%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.56%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.53%), Asian Paints(down 0.51%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.48%) and Axis Bank(down 0.3%) closed in the red.
