NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1196.98 points up at 75418.04 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Techknowgreen Solutions(down 18.62 per cent), HEG(down 16.25 per cent), Pooja Entertainment (down 14.60 per cent), Centum Elec(down 13.25 per cent) and Ratnaveer Precision(down 11.53 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 369.86 points up at 22967.65.
On the BSE, Decorous Investment & Trading, Superior Finlease, Revathi Equipment, Nihar Info Global and Brightcom Group hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Intec Capital, GRSE, Cochin Shipyard, Tower Infra Trust and VSF Projects touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
