Canara Bank shares drop 0.41% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Canara Bank traded at Rs 108.15 on BSE at 01:23PM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.41 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 66.52 and a high of Rs 129.35.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 6.26 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 17.27 per share and 1.27 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 1,012,977 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:23PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 98144.45 crore and is part of the Banks – Public Sector industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 60.6 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 24.9 per cent gain in Sensex. During the day, the stock moved between Rs 109.5 and Rs 107.75. Promoter/FII Holding
