NEW DELHI: Kotak Bank(Rs. 2384.87 crore), Bank of Baroda(Rs. 1720.94 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1629.32 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1196.11 crore), Sun Pharma(Rs. 988.74 crore), RIL(Rs. 949.30 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 941.32 crore), PNB(Rs. 860.57 crore), L&T(Rs. 805.48 crore) and Bajaj Finance(Rs. 750.26 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 48.85 points up at 18609.35, while BSE Sensex rose 160.0 points to 62570.68.
In the Nifty index,
.(up 2.70 per cent), .(up 2.25 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent), .(up 1.92 per cent) and .(up 1.58 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 3.63 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), .(down 1.47 per cent), .(down 0.89 per cent) and .(down 0.87 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
