Players in Final Fantasy XIV frequently require FFxiv Gil, be it to upgrade gear or purchase glamour items, mounts and houses. Unfortunately, its ease of acquisition varies considerably by server and DC.
Players on European servers may find it easier to profit from a gathering discipline than those on Japanese ones, since prices fluctuate more drastically between regions.
Disciples of the Hand
Disciples of the Hand are creators in a world that centers on combat. From weapons and armor production to food preparation and furnishings, Disciples of the Hand create everything needed for battle – from weapons like swords, axes and hand-to-hand weapons produced from metal to food preparation for their homes or furnishing furniture with various defensive properties – with blacksmiths creating these items out of metal; goldsmiths refining gems into jewelry accessories; leatherworkers weaving fabric into clothing with special defensive properties that provide players different defensive properties – they produce all sorts of goods!
Disciples of the Hand are challenging classes to level quickly. To facilitate this process, Square Enix has implemented various techniques which speed up this process and enable quick progression from 1-50 levels.
Disciples of the Land
Disciples of the Land are essential players of Final Fantasy XIV as they harvest natural resources throughout Eorzea to craft equipment and consumables that support its economy and supply numerous classes with needed materials.
Blacksmiths use metals to craft weapons and tools, carpenters use lumber to craft wooden armor and furniture, leatherworkers create leather garments from hides, furs, and pelts; Culinarians craft tasty dishes which provide temporary buffs; while alchemists produce potions and elixirs widely consumed by other classes.
Miner, Botanist and Fisher are three Disciples of the Land that gather materials at various gathering points around the world. While their primary focus may be stealthy and enemy avoidance rather than combat, their attributes can still be enhanced through special gear pieces.
Disciples of Crafting
Crafting classes are another great way to earn Gil in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, offering players another way to harvest Eorzea’s natural resources – miners collect rare ore; botanists pick herbs and other plants; while fishers reel in fresh catches from rivers and seas.
Resource gatherers gain experience through Levequests – repeatable quests which provide experience and items they can sell – available at Guildleves NPCs around the world.
Once leveled up, crafters can transform materials into gear to receive a flat stat bonus while breaking down unwanted equipment for materials they require.
Disciples of Gathering
As they say, money doesn’t grow on trees – but it does come from harvesting Eorzea’s natural resources! Resource nodes throughout Eorzea can provide great sources of ffxiv gil.
Gathering classes gain experience by completing levequests and collecting specific items, rather than engaging in battle. They do not take part in the main storyline but may use stealth tactics to stay hidden from enemies.
Botanists harvest plants and trees for Carpenters, Weavers, and Culinarians while Fishers collect marine and freshwater resources from the water, while Miners extract minerals from the ground. As their level increases so does their chance to find rare materials or even get them upgraded to high quality (HQ).
Disciples of Combat
Players creating new characters must select an ethnic background and class to play as. This choice determines their starting skillset and city of residence, but ultimately is irrelevant because all classes and jobs in the game can be upgraded over time.
Combat jobs found within the Disciples of War category use both melee attacks and magic to level up and damage enemies, such as Archers (bow, ranged DPS), Gladiators (swords and axes, melee tank) or Pugilists (knuckles/claws, avoidance/melee DPS).
Gathering and crafting classes found within the Disciples Of The Land category do not need to fight enemies in order to level up; rather they rely on gear that increases specific crafting attributes for advancement.
Disciples of Minions
Minions, the adorable vanity pets available to players in Eorzea, can be obtained through various means, most commonly from rare drops in Retainer Ventures which require specific forms of gathering.
Patch 3.1 introduced the Lord of Verminion minigame as another way to obtain minions, in which players compete against other players or NPCs using summoned minions in real-time strategy matches against them using summoned minions to destroy all “Arcana Stones”. A winner will emerge once all opponent “Arcana Stones” have been destroyed.
Disciples of Treasure Maps
Many FFXIV players are familiar with Timeworn Loboskin Treasure Maps and their potential gil-making rewards, but there are other ways of capitalizing on this lucrative activity!
At present, two types of Treasure Maps exist. Miners and botanists may collect the Timeworn Br’aaxskin Map every 18 hours from Miners; fishers must collect Kumbhiraskin Maps every 18 hours with timer indicated in Timers tab.
Once a player acquires one of these maps, it can be examined and deciphered to locate a hidden cache – whether that be treasure chest or portal!
